Riverside Motor Lodge in Pigeon Forge has been family owned and operated business since 1989 by the family of the late Jerry Ogle...getting his start by being a pharmacist, opening and operating  Gatlinburg drug store in the late 60s and then by the 70s buying the Riverside motor lodge in Gatlinburg...Jerry’s dream was to design and build his own and by the late 80s his dream became his reality!

         Of course since the structure of the lodge was built in the late 80s it’s hard for us to compete to the new more modern high rise chain hotels that you see in the area now and if that’s what you’re looking for then our lodge may not be the place for you...We have more of a homey feel where guest become family.

        The lodge is now operated by his daughter and 4 of Jerry’s Grandchildren, you may see his great grandchildren there in (training already) who enjoy handing out pool towels to the guest...We still have Jerry’s parrot in the office that has been at the motel for over 25 years and loves to greet guest upon checking in.

      We are centrally located in the middle of Pigeon Forge. Many restaurants within walking distance.

​

        We have kitchenettes in every room, Grills on property on our ground floor. An indoor pool and during the summer months we share an outdoor pool with the motel next door
